MeetFactory is a non-profit international center for contemporary art. Our mission is to initiate dialogue between different genres and make contemporary art accessible to the widest possible audience. We support original projects in the fields of visual arts, theater, and music, as well as interdisciplinary and experimental platforms. We strive to create a space for live art where artists are present. In this way, we enable direct contact between international artists and visitors, but also between representatives of various fields, not only artistic ones, and generations.

The MeetFactory program consists of four dramaturgical lines. The music program primarily presents the international independent music scene. Six to eight events are held each month in the concert hall, which is equipped with high-end sound equipment. The theater program focuses on interpretations of contemporary prose and experimental interdisciplinary projects, which often involve visual artists, musicians, and non-actors. Two galleries offer space for critical confrontations between the local and international art scenes. The MeetFactory Gallery program focuses on original curatorial projects, while the Kostka Gallery mainly presents solo exhibitions by emerging and established artists. 

The international residency program is the largest Czech studio program for foreign artists. MeetFactory has fifteen studios, which are used annually by more than thirty visual artists, curators, musicians, theater directors, and writers. We support the involvement of our resident artists not only in the MeetFactory program itself, but also in the context of the Czech and Central European art scene. In addition to these four dramaturgical lines, the MeetFactory program focuses on interdisciplinary and educational projects that bring new forms of encounter with contemporary art to the public.
