Come to FaVU!

Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno University of Technology, which in recent years has been among the most selective schools in the Czech Republic, offers education in art and design fields at all three levels of higher education. Prospective students apply to specific studios; however, during their studies they can take advantage of internship opportunities in other FaVU studios or at partner schools in the Czech Republic and abroad. Courses offered by the departments and the Chair of Art Theory and History serve as an important complement to studio instruction. The faculty includes prominent figures from the art world, who draw on their own creative experience—to which they remain actively committed—in their teaching. Thanks to collaboration with gallery institutions and the organizational and curatorial activities of faculty, alumni, and current students, the school offers many opportunities to exhibit and publicly present their own work even while still enrolled.

Applications for the bachelor’s and master’s programs for the 2027/2028 academic year can be submitted by November 30, 2026.
