The Brunaupark area of Zurich consists of five apartment complexes with 405 households whose future is now in jeopardy. The owner of the buildings, the Credit Suisse pension fund, is planning a large-scale new development that will see the existing buildings demolished.

Half of the tenants have already received notice and are leaving the complex, but hundreds of others are refusing to give up and are actively fighting the forced eviction. Over the course of three years, the director duo Hergert and Zietlow have followed the growing insecurity and the gradual transformation of the space. The result is a sensitive portrait of an extraordinarily vibrant and indomitable community forced to confront its fate and defend the place it calls home.
