On Tuesday 24th February, it will be four years since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. We invite you to a joint gathering to commemorate this day at Galerie TIC.

At ArtMap Bookstore ➫ there will be a presentation of the photography book The Luhansk Region Photo Album by Ukrainian visual artist Vitalii Matukhna. Alongside this publication, we will also present a special selection of Ukrainian literature ➫ followed by a screening of the film Once Upon a Time in Ukraine by director Tetiana Khodakivska at Kino CIT (film will be screened in the original language with eng subtitles, TY to Goldcrest Post NY for providing the film)

8PM Screening of Once Upon a Time in Ukraine (2024, 32 min.)

The event is part of the Solidarity Collectives fundraising campaign. All contributions and admission fees will go towards technological support for activists and workshop needs at the frontline. As part of the benefit, a few remaining prints by Alice Nikitinová will be available, along with a new batch of Resistance Support Club T-shirts. A selection of Ukrainian literature and several copies of The Luhansk Region Photo Album will also be available for purchase on site.
