Free writing workshop Creating Characters of Otherness led by Nikoleta Radišić. The author’s research focuses on linking creative writing with emotional well-being and self-regulation through the creation of characters representing otherness.

The workshop will focus on finding “the other” within ourselves—that is, something our psyche rejects and projects onto others, thereby preventing genuine connection and a sense of belonging. Through group discussion, we will identify some characteristics of this otherness and try to transform them into characters, stories, or poems. Everyone is welcome to bring their own notebook, paper, pencils, a favorite object, or nothing at all. You can participate individually or in small groups, depending on what you feel comfortable with. The goal is to put these characteristics into perspective and ultimately transcend them.
