Municipal elections are approaching, and with them come questions that concern everyone who lives in Olomouc, creates art, or attends cultural events.

How much does the city plan to invest in culture? How does it intend to create conditions conducive to the work of artists and cultural professionals? What will it do with the existing cultural strategy? And how will it protect the freedom of artistic expression?

Culture Votes 2026 brings representatives of political groups running for the Olomouc City Council together at one table ahead of the municipal elections. Come hear their visions for the future of culture in our city and find out what role they assign to it in its further development.
