The Landscape Festival takes to the streets, parks, courtyards, riverbanks, and neglected spots throughout Hradec Králové. The temporary architectural and artistic interventions here are not merely objects to be observed. They function as questions posed to the city: how do we use public space today, for whom are we creating it, and which of its layers have we not yet learned to perceive?

The festival’s interventions do not provide ready-made answers or definitive solutions. They enter specific locations on the scale of a light installation, a bench, a table, a pavilion, a play structure, or a temporary viewing platform. They draw attention to the hidden potential of these locations and allow visitors to explore how they might be used differently.

The festival map, therefore, does not merely guide visitors through well-known, iconic spaces. It connects the main train station, Ulrichovo Square, and the riverfront with Hostivítova Street, housing estates, spaces beneath transportation infrastructure, former military facilities, and places that have so far remained outside the public eye.
