We cordially invite you to the exhibition of Jakub Tauš in PRÁM Gallery. The opening is on Tuesday 4th September from 7pm and the exhibition lasts till 18th September.

Jakub Tauš is a graduate of the sculpture studio at UMPRUM and for the past 5 years he has been working mainly on the creation of light objects and installations on the border of fine and applied art. The main thing is the transformation of old Czechoslovak designs of chandeliers and lamps into objects of sculptural character and thus of transformation in context and "putting things in order".

He usually works with steel and other metals, electrical components, but also works with materials such as silicone rubber or articles of daily use. Part of his earlier work is built on the mutation of symbols, which is a critique of society in his own way.
