Jakub Tomáš (b. 1982 in Jihlava) → graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts (Graphic Studio II, atelier prof. Vladimir Kokolia; Studio Painting I, atelier prof. Jiří Sopko) in 2012. At the turn of 2011-12, he was included in the second cycle of the project Start-up, which the Prague City Gallery represents a significant youngest talents from various fields of artistic activity. Since 2011 he has solo exhibitions. Among the most recent projects where we could meet with his work, were solo exhibitions Stafáž přítomnosti (2014, Galerie OFF/FORMAT, Brno) Paravent (2014, Moë Vienna, Vienna), INVENTURA (2015, Nová galerie, Prague), Loos je mrtev, ať žije ornament (2015, Galerie Dole, Ostrava) and collective projects Fundament: Barva (2014 OGV, Jihlava), Jehla v kupce sena (2015 Topičův salon, Prague) or Existuju (2015 Galerie 35M2, Prague).
