Miroslav Polách (b. 1980 in Čeladná) belongs to a strong generation of painters
on the Czech art scene at the turn of the millennium. He graduated in 1999-2005 at
Prague Academy of Fine Arts (prof. Jiří Sopko). In the context of contemporary arts ranked Polách
mainly new projects New patience (Mánes Gallery, Prague, 2007) and Resetting,
Other ways to Eternity (GHMP - Municipal Library in Prague, 2007-2008). In 2009
he became a finalist of Critics´ award for Young Painters. In 2013, The critics gallery organized for him the exhibition and published a catalog in newspaper format called same as the exhibition itself "17:53". His last exhibition with Vladimír Véla took place at Praque New Gallery (project Reverze, 2014-15)
