The artist’s specialty, which we can also see in the exhibition Vibration of light, is his work with glass, metal, and the entity of light, which becomes not only a carrier of meaning but also, quite literally, a third material with which Petr Stanický skillfully works.

From a conceptual perspective, he treats light as a philosophical, spiritual, and symbolic phenomenon, but from a technical standpoint, he works with it as a material whose properties he knows very well and for which he finds applications in a wide range of his works. A typical approach involves dematerialization achieved through precise technical calculations and ingenious craftsmanship.

Another major theme encountered in this exhibition is space. Space as a philosophical, ontological phenomenon, in which the very essence, being, nature of existence, and relationship to matter and the light that permeates it are explored.
