Wojtek Doroszuk's practice moves between the borders of documentary film and video art. He has become well-known thanks to documentaries devoted to social issues, on which he applies 'aesthetic filters'. Both videos Sediment (2014) and Festin (2013) are haunted by the fascination with apocalypse, or the moment just after apocalypse, in which resonates post-anthropocentric philosophy: the end of man doesn't imply the end of the world.

Wojtek Doroszuk (b. 1980 in Poland) is a video artist based in Krakow, Poland and Rouen, France. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Faculty of Painting, in 2006. His works have been shown in, among others, Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle (Wrasaw), Zachęta National Gallery of Art (Warsaw), Museum of Modern Art (Warsaw), Location One (New York), Marina Abramovic Institute (San Francisco), Belfast Exposed, ICA (London), The Stenersen Museum (Oslo), Joseph Tang Gallery in Paris etc. In 2009 he was awarded with the Public Award of Deutsche Bank Art Prize (Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw, Poland); in 2013 he obtained the Honorable Mention of 15th Media Art Biennale in Wroclaw, Poland.
