Silvia Krivošíková (born 1976 at Zvolen, Czechoslovakia) – studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava between 1998 and 2004 (prof. Vladimír Popovič). In 2003 she studied at Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto in Porto where she later lived for several years. She cofounded the Kubik Gallery there. Since 2012 she has lived and worked in Vienna. She often exhibits her works in Portugal and Slovakia (eg. Which way out? project, Nitra gallery, 2012). In Prague, she presented her works in SPZ Gallery in 2013 (Model of feeling / emotion scheme), in Petr Novotný Gallery (Comical figures & Allerlei) and in k.art.on Gallery (Empiric´s configuration). The Revolver revue published an interview with Silvia in 2013. Her last exhibition in the Czech Republic was in 2017 (Figuration, Dům Gallery, Broumov) and within the Her world project – 6 contemporary Slovak female artists´s paintings (Regional Gallery in Jihlava, 2016) and Image metastasis project (Topičův salon, Praha 2017).
