In the exhibition Eyes in Low Light, Šimon Sýkora moves from wandering through peripheral landscapes to the hidden corners of dimly lit bars and pubs—interiors soaked in human presence and a sense of static timelessness. These paintings emerge from real-life observations of the past few months while reflecting the specific context of Spektrum Gallery, nestled among night clubs and bars. The exhibition thus creates a subtle dialogue with the surrounding nightlife and its stories.
