The highly noticeable Czech author has been using his grandiose public
space realizations since the 90s to create apt, caricaturing SPACE
MARKERS, in a sense LOGOS
IN A STATUE, of the Czech post-revolutionary society. Cultural,
political and human
follies are submitted to a merciless criticism in his latest
realization. What is however
surprising this time is the more personal and truly "mature" statement
of convictions of
this eternal child, this enfant terrible of the domestic art scene.
For the Cube Gallery, he
has prepared a re-installation of his new monumental figural sculptural group.
