The exhibition The Space Between focuses on the "space between" as an active and changing field of relations in which the human and the inhuman, architecture, landscape, memory, and ecological and political contexts intersect. The gaps and intervals are not understood here as voids, but as places where meanings are formed and established orders are transformed. Inspiration is already drawn from the ancient thought of Vitruvius, for whom the gaps in architecture carried aesthetic and cultural significance, as well as from the contemporary philosophy of Félix Guattari, who understands space as an unstable process emerging in transition zones. The exhibition traces these principles across architecture, art, and landscape.

Individual artists develop the theme of space in different ways: Michal Škoda works with the tension between matter and void and the active role of the viewer's body. Stanislav Libenský and Jaroslava Brychtová move the interval into the material itself, where space is created from the play of light and glass. Magdalena Jetelová and Veronika Hapchenko open up political and ideological fissures in landscape and architecture, while Jan Poupě focuses on the space that is born in the very act of seeing.

The Space Between presents space not as a fixed structure but as a process, a threshold situation and a possibility for change, a place where order is released and a new way of seeing the world opens up.
