Dalibor David (b. 1972 Meziříčí), graduated in 1986-1990 at secondary school in Uherske Hradiste and then in 1990-1997 at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Atelier of painting I, prof. Jiří Sopko). In the late 90s he participated in the exhibition of students of Sopko’s atelier. The output of this exhibition was a project called "Punch cut". Dalibor David got rank to the context of contemporary paintings by exhibitions 4 x 1 (Gallery VŠUP, Prague, 2002) and Resetting / Other ways to Eternity (GHMP – Municipal Library of Prague, Prague, 2007-08).  In 2011, David exhibited together with Jiří Sopko in Gallery Sýpka (Valašské Meziříčí). At the beginning of 2016, the Regional Gallery Vysočina in Jihlava organised a solo exhibition for him. Dalibor David is a distinctive colourist of contemporary Czech painting.

The theme of exhibition „Today I stay at home” shows the author's intense relationship to objects, that help to create intimacy of home; and also the issues of culture clothing as a form of protection, concealment and mimicry against the surroundings. Clothing can be figuratively considered as a sort of "mobile hideout" or "background" for body of the individual and his psychological "well-being". The type and colour of clothing may reveal human nature or equally can just completely hide it.
