The exhibition Trophies takes up the concept of appropriation and passionate collecting of objects and motifs. Krajc appropriates the themes or objects, which he has met during his journeys and visits, either real or virtual ones, enabled by the endless world of internet. He is choosing often the interesting historical motifs. He adds to his canvases the found objects by a way of assemblage, as for example antlers, which bring their own story to the picture, but at the same time creating a new one. Another trophies shall be the collected materials, used as the patterns of paintings – the polaroid photographs of world cities, museums and galleries, the motifs picked up from the magazins and papers, the erotical photos from internet. Virtual character of internet is accented hereby the massive white frames of paintings, which evoke an impression of the artist´s personal monitor of computor.
