The Past Won't Let You Go (2021) is Veronika Rónaiová’s central work in a dialogue exhibition between the artist and her partner, multimedia artist Peter Rónai. The exhibition will present different media approaches within the artistic practice of two prominent Slovak artists.

Veronika Rónaiová (*1951) has established herself as a prominent representative of photorealism and the neo-realist approach to classical painting.

Peter Rónai (*1953) ranks among the leading post-conceptual and multimedia artists. Since the 1970s, his work has evolved within the context of unofficial art and experiments with photography, performance, and the analysis of the medium of photography.
