When you’re a visitor, you see things differently than those who live here. As part of the celebrations for PLATO’s 10th anniversary, we’re introducing a range of new program formats this year. One of them is a gathering and discussion not only about works of art, but also about experiences, different perspectives, and ways of interpreting exhibitions.

We’re interested in what a contemporary art gallery—or PLATO—means to people with education or experience in fields other than the visual arts. We believe that art, as part of life, stimulates different ways of thinking and reflecting on the world. Are you also curious to hear what our visitors think about this?

Lenka Králová (*1981) is a software developer by training and currently works as a host and human rights activist. She is the creator of the YouTube show V Tranzu, in which she has been interviewing real trans people and parents of trans children about their lives since 2020. She is involved in advocacy work for the rights of queer people, debunking myths and misinformation not only online but also, for example, in the Chamber of Deputies.
