This year’s Diploma Projects 2026 explore the metaphor of a garden as a cultivated and tended space in which diverse creative approaches, perspectives, and artistic personalities emerge during the course of study. The exhibition presents the work of more than three dozen graduates of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ostrava, who are concluding their multi-year journey through art education and entering a new phase of their professional and creative lives.

The exhibition is conceived as an open salon presenting a broad spectrum of approaches, media, and themes. It is precisely this diversity that demonstrates the multitude of paths that can lead to contemporary art.
