Inge Kosková belongs to the older generation of authors. She is an artist who has been tested by years of constant work and an inner need for expression. Already at a young age she found the medium that brought her the greatest freedom and the available possibility of realizing her own artistic need. Throughout her life, drawing has accompanied her, which could be said to be intrinsically linked to the artist and to be an immediate visual transmission of her state of being, thinking and inner attunement.

It is no exaggeration to say that in Inge Kosko's work the pen and ink is an extended hand that captures the depths of consciousness and unconsciousness, at the same time becoming a tool through which the current state of moods and world view is transcribed. Although the expression is highly subjective, the theme is eternal, constant and common to every human perception. The image of landscape, rhythm in music and in nature is deeply inscribed in each of us and accompanies human existence from the earliest childhood, when even the smallest child in a pram can perceive the rhythm of the trees of a walked avenue. The character of the landscape that surrounds us is therefore deeply imprinted on each of us.
