Jimena Mendoza is a Mexican artist based in Prague. Her work is focused on a dialogue between applied arts, crafts and design. She has been influenced by indigenous and non-Western cultures; lately by the former Eastern European, which she filters through her own idiosyncratic vision. Her persistent interest in iconography and local architecture have a rendezvous at her solo show Forgotten fruits.
