The exhibition of Michaela Hromadová will present paintings responding to various motifs of contemporary folk visuality. Michaela is a student of the Game Media Studio at FaVU, where she has long been working on the aesthetics of RPG games and the nostalgia associated with them. Her work combines an interest in everyday, sometimes even vulgar images mediated by digital technologies, which she translates into painting through a distinctive realism and an emphasis on technical sophistication.
