Targeted Joy is a site-specific intervention situated in the public spaces of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University. It opens up the topic of well-being within the legal profession and reminds us that care is not merely an individual choice, but depends on fragile infrastructures of mutual support, which are often difficult to create and sustain.
Ondřej Kotrč (*1982) is an intermedia artist living and working in Brno. His practice originates in painting, which he further develops in relation to objects and the physical materiality of the image. He works with motifs drawn from subcultural as well as everyday situations, translating them into realizations that resist unambiguous interpretation and often employ subtle irony. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology (FaVU), Painting Studio 3.
