The ground floor of Pražák's Palace will present the work of the important Slovak artist Rudolf Sikora – painter, draughtsman, graphic artist, photographer, sculptor and long-time teacher. Sikora is one of the most important personalities of Slovak conceptual art and is one of the key figures of the 20th century Czechoslovak art scene.

His work, often shaped by existential questions, ecological themes and a critical view of the state of the world, is characterized by visual austerity and extraordinary density of thought. Through precise gestures, symbols and expressive work with space, Sikora's work opens up topical and timeless reflections on man, society and our responsibility for the world we inhabit.

The exhibition will offer a unique opportunity to look into the complex visual language of an artist who has long shaped the form of Slovak and Central European art.
