What if the feeling of fulfillment is always one step away?

The exhibition loosely follows on from the artist’s previous series Baby Cogito and focuses on the moment when expectation becomes an end in itself. The idea that the next step will bring a sense of fulfillment turns into a never-ending cycle of procrastination, ambition, and looking toward the future.

Through the spatial installation Vita Shakhnovich, she raises questions about the relationship between external recognition and the internal experience of one’s own worth.

The exhibition was created as the outcome of the first summer residency at Galerie Cejla.
