The exhibition Zdeněk Lhotský - Drawings, Prints at Studio Bubec presents a lesser-known, but distinctive position in the work of the personality of Czech glassmaking, associated with the group Tvrdohlaví and his long-standing friendship with Čestmír Suška.

The exhibition includes small and monumental drawings created by the artist using common drawing tools – pen, pencil or micro pencil. The abstract geometric compositions work with symmetry, mirroring and rhythm, oscillating between strict order and playful energy. In recent years, these have been joined by monumental digital prints created directly in the computer, where the artist works with dozens of layers, varying the scale and magnifying the detail into new planes of meaning. The exhibition thus offers an intense visual experience in which drawing and digital image become a space of concentration, movement and visual energy.
