GAMPA, or City Gallery Pardubice, has been operating since 2012. Our goal is to bring contemporary art to the general public and to create a platform for discussion on current artistic and social issues. We offer an inspiring, experiential and relaxing space open to all without distinction. We are a non-profit and non-collecting institution. In other words, we do not create museum-type art collections, we do not own works of art, nor are we a selling gallery.

For the first decade of its existence, GAMPA occupied the space of a renovated Baroque granary at Příhrádek, in close proximity to the Pardubice castle in the historic centre of the city. In 2023, the new headquarters of the Gallery of the City of Pardubice became the premises of Automatic Mills, where a building designed by architect Jan Šépka was built on the site of a former packed flour warehouse, which became the new headquarters of our city gallery as well as the educational centre - the Sphere. This change brings us not only larger exhibition halls, but also more suitable and better quality facilities - a lecturer's studio, a workshop and warehouse and two residential studios.
