The City Gallery in Týn nad Vltavou presents contemporary free and applied art in the form of short-term exhibitions.

The specific focus of our gallery is on artistic disciplines related to the world of books or texts: illustration, graphic design, calligraphy, comics, drawing, free graphics, author's book, typography, conceptual art, object art - in the sense of book/paper as object.

This concept continues the local tradition of book design, embodied in the work of the artistic bookbinder Ladislav Hodný Sr. From time to time, the dramaturgy of exhibitions is enlivened by a painting or photographic exhibition.
