Puppet psychedelia for audiences of all ages. A reconstruction of a legendary 1996 home theater production that many have heard of but no one has seen. The first in a series of theatrical reconstructions of the group’s own work and, at the same time, a deconstruction of the puppet theater genre. The performance is preceded by an explanatory pseudo-documentary film that, in turn, explains almost nothing. Puppet theater venturing toward surrealism and the art brut genre.

Handa Gote Research & Development is dedicated to experimenting with dramaturgy, incorporating non-theatrical elements into its work, and developing its own concept of post-dramatic and post-spectacular theater. It has long drawn inspiration from science and technology. The group conducts ongoing research into theatrical language and laboratory work in the fields of sound and lighting design.
