The Guided Tour of the exhibition Companion presents a dialogue between two distinctive artists – Polish-Romani artist Małgorzata Mirga-Tas and Czech artist Sráč Sam.

Curator Tea Kříž and Sráč Sam will guide you through the exhibition, with Sráč Sam personally introducing her project, creative process, the making of the works, and their relationship to space, architecture, and everyday life.

The tour will offer a deeper insight into themes of memory, women’s experience, identity, care, and minority perspectives, which come together in the exhibition through textiles and materials carrying both personal and collective stories. The exhibition thus opens up new ways of understanding textile as a medium of labour, care, resistance, and everyday experience.
