Didn’t have time to read a bedtime story? No worries — the morning is the perfect opportunity to stop by with your little ones, slow down and start the day with a story together. The program also encourages children to develop a reading habit and families to enjoy quality time together.

The program is inspired by the exhibitions of Erwin Wurm, Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, Sráč Sam and Kvet Nguyen. Children will encounter Austrian, Roma and Vietnamese fairy tales, playfully discovering different cultural backgrounds, forms of imagination and ways of storytelling.

Fairy-Tale Reading is a new series of regular gatherings for children and their parents or grandparents, using fairy tales to explore different cultures, minorities, traditions and everyday customs. Once a month, we will read stories related to the current exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts Liberec and discover through storytelling just how diverse and interconnected our shared world is.

Age: 1.5 to 5 years

The program is available in Czech only.
