We invite you to a guided tour of the biennial exhibition Matter of Art Biennial 2026 with curator František Fekete.

During the tour, we will explore together how art and imagination help us transcend the boundaries of the present and open up space for new ways of thinking about the nature of our coexistence and the organization of the world. 

Through the works on display, we’ll gain insight into stories and themes that touch on everyday life, interpersonal relationships, fundamental human rights, and the experiences of people and communities whose voices and needs are often overlooked or marginalized.

The guided tour will be followed at 8:30 p.m. by a screening of original films by the artists featured in the exhibition at GAMPA.

We will screen video animations by Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven imbued with a direct feminist tone. A work by Liliana Zeic rooted in queer feminism and queer ecology. A video performance by Cezary Bodzianowski, whose intimate and often absurd one-man shows take place on city streets and in public spaces. The evening will conclude with an early film by Nosrata Karimi, a pioneer of Iranian animation.
