Visual artist Jiří Černický will present his book Congo of the North. The book is based on his travels through Africa, which he explored as a student in the 1990s. During the lecture on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5 PM, he will speak about his encounters with local culture, politics, and political figures.

The lecture will be followed by an author-led Guided Tour of his exhibition The West of the Earth from the Sun.
