Nimova Projeckt is a name under which hungarian artist Veronika Romhány works. Videos of Nimova Projeckt balance between narration and abstraction, distance and fragility as she explores digital entities expressing their feelings, fears and anxieties. She draws from Mark Fisher’s notion of mental illness as an political issue in late capitalism as he expressed in his book Capitalist Realism. Veronika studied Graphic design and Painting on Hungarian University of Fine Arts and exhibited internationally in Brussels, Stockholm and Prague. She attended a residency in Agosto Foundation in Prague.
