At the conclusion of the exhibition Václav Šrůtek – From the Painter’s Diary, the Náchod Gallery of Fine Arts is organizing a guided tour with the exhibition’s curator, David Chaloupka, who, together with the granddaughter of Václav Šrůtek, will guide participants through the entire exhibition and introduce them to the artist’s life and work, including in the context of the interwar art scene.

Subsequent generations of the Šrůtek family also pursued artistic careers professionally, not only in painting but also in filmmaking and other disciplines. Academic painter Ivana Grimmová will introduce participants to the family tradition and its ties to the city of Náchod.
