The concert will take place on the terrace of the House of Arts as part of the Summer Full of Music series. 

The band Biograph was founded in 2018 by Igi and Ivan, at that time still as an unnamed group. Both had spent many years playing in various bands, and after a brief period of strumming acoustically as a duo, they began to miss the full sound of a complete band. Soon, young drummer Eliška joined them, adding a new dimension and energy to the songs with her playing.

After a while, Petr, a longtime childhood friend with whom the band members had previously played in a local cimbalom band, took up the bass guitar. His bass guitar quickly became an integral part of Biograph’s sound.

In 2024, Bára joined the lineup, complementing the male vocals and enriching the music with the violin. Together with the clarinet, she creates the melancholic atmosphere that characterizes the band’s original compositions and underscores its “(L)ive projection of emotions,” as Biograph playfully describes its own music.

The band’s repertoire today consists of approximately forty songs, all original compositions, in which melancholy, energy, and distinctive lyrics bordering on poetry intertwine.
